Identity And Boundary

This is a replay-derived pattern report. It can identify matchup/map trends, opener timings, economy checkpoints, and deep-dive candidates. It still needs human tactical review for scouting intent, camera context, fight micro, and exact turning points.

Record

First Coach Read

The opener skeleton is intact. First Pylon is usually around 0:24-0:27, first Gateway around 0:50-0:56, first Assimilator around 1:03-1:06, and Cyber Core around 1:58-2:16.

The useful coaching question is not whether NavyWhale can open correctly. It is where the transition after a normal Protoss opener becomes unstable, and whether that instability repeats by matchup or map.

Priority 1: PvZ Expansion And Worker Floor

Clean PvZ wins usually hit the natural Nexus around 1:56-1:59, then reach roughly 31-34 workers by 5:00 and 49-57 workers by 8:00.

Losses on Old Republic LE (25) and Taito Citadel LE (19) show late naturals around 3:07 and 2:59, only 25 workers at 5:00, and low early army value.

Training rule: in macro PvZ, treat sub-2:05 natural and 31+ workers at 5:00 as the baseline unless the game is a deliberate one-base deviation.

Priority 2: Old Republic

Old Republic LE is the clearest map problem in this sample. Review it first, especially the three PvZ losses.

PvP is close at 4W-3L. Review first scout information, tech match against scout, battery timing, first two fights, and whether Stargate/Twilight/Robo transitions are focused or split too widely.

Practice Plan

  1. Drill PvZ standard expansion discipline.
  2. Use Old Republic as the map-specific lab.
  3. After each PvZ replay, mark natural Nexus timing, 5:00 workers, 8:00 workers, first tech path, and the purpose of the first real army move.

Concrete targets: PvZ natural 1:56-2:05, 5:00 workers 31+, 8:00 workers 50+. If going early Fleet Beacon, Tempest, or Carrier, write the scout trigger down.

Coach Verdict

NavyWhale should not rebuild everything. Keep the opener, tighten the PvZ natural and worker floor, review Old Republic first, and require every early tech choice to explain itself through scouting.
